Christine Roberts, CFRE

With more than 20 years of executive fundraising experience, Christine has worked with a variety of nonprofit organizations to advance and strengthen resource and executive development. She works directly with CEOs, board members, staff, and volunteers to build systems and processes that drive results to sustain a culture of philanthropy. She believes strongly that development is the proactive process of tapping and channeling potential into sustainable benefits for the long-term success of a nonprofit organization.

Her specialty areas include consultation and training with boards and staff, with a focus that connects vision to effective mission delivery. She is also skilled in strategic planning, board recruitment, campaign management, community outreach, stewardship, and donor relations.

She has led successful development programs with a focus on major gifts, planned giving, special events, annual giving, cause marking, and special initiative funding. Her work with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and other youth-related programs has included outcomes measurement and evaluation as well as volunteer recruitment, training, management, and recognition.

Christine has led large-scale campaigns and community impact events. Her excellent attention to detail and communication skills make her an asset to the Convergent team and our nonprofit clients.

Summary of Experience

  • Most recently part of senior resource development team at Boys & Girls Clubs of America consulting on numerous large-scale capital campaigns for individual clubs.
  • Significant experience as development director and executive director of nonprofit organizations focused on education, community-building, and youth service.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from Bowling Green State University.
