I would give Convergent the highest possible rating. They don’t muscle their way into a community and run roughshod over community leadership. They very carefully, patiently, and methodically work closely with organizational leadership – both staff and volunteers – to first understand the objective, then create and closely follow an approach that fits perfectly within the culture of the community. They work with community leadership to create a plan that the leadership identifies as important. Then they tie a return on investment to that and make the hard asks.
