Doug Peters
I would give Convergent the highest possible rating. They don’t muscle their way into a community and run roughshod over community leadership. They very carefully, patiently, and methodically work closely with organizational leadership – both staff and volunteers – to first understand the objective, then create and closely follow an approach that fits perfectly within the culture of the community. They work with community leadership to create a plan that the leadership identifies as important. Then they tie a return on investment to that and make the hard asks.

Convergent brought us outside experience and expertise we didn’t have. They helped us close the door and solidify large commitments that were crucial to our campaign. Plus, our Convergent project director was nothing short of amazing. It felt like he was a part of our staff. He invested in understanding our entire program of work. His attention to detail was excellent, and he really got things done on this campaign before I even asked.

This was our third campaign working with Convergent. They get a 10 out of 10 from us! The feasibility study process, for me, was probably the most valuable part. It was executed beautifully by Convergent. Our campaign is over goal, and that is connected to the boldness of the plan that Convergent recommended. It's also a direct result of their team's hard work in helping us get investors we’ve never had before.

Convergent’s work resulted in a significant increase to our previous investment amounts. They succinctly messaged our campaign and strategy in a way that resonated with Gainesville businesses.
