We look forward to attending our very first aLABama Downtown Laboratory, hosted by Main Street Alabama. This year’s event will “examine how focusing on details can catapult your revitalization efforts. Learn how cultivating volunteers, developing an engaged board, building strong partnerships with financial supporters, and using public relations effectively can take your Main Street programs to the next level.”

As part of this year’s “focus on the Organizational point of the Four Point Approach,” we are honored to have our own Lee Mikell presenting the session, “Fundraising: How to Make the Ask.” If you are unable to attend this session but want to learn more about our fundraising approach, please contact us at Info@ConvergentNonprofit.com

Fundraising: How to Make the Ask
August 22nd | 10:45 am to 12:15 pm

– How to find more donors and who to target,
– A proven method for scheduling an appointment over the phone,
– How to handle objections;
– The best days of the week and times of the day to make your phone calls,
– “Must Do’s” in your first meeting,
– Strategy for making the ask, and
– Making the ask and getting a “Yes!”
