PechaKucha Nights are informal and fun gatherings where creative people get together and share their ideas, works, thoughts, holiday snaps — just about anything, really — in the PechaKucha 20×20 format. PechaKucha 20×20 is a simple presentation format where you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically and you talk along to the images.
We’re excited to have Partner Carol Wick participating PechaKucha Night Orlando Vol. 19, taking place on Friday, October 21st. In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, she’ll be drawing on her 10+ years of experience as Executive Director at a domestic violence agency to share her insights on why domestic violence is so often trivialized and the misconceptions on the realities and impact that it has on our society.
