“Wick recently went to Puerto Rick to work with a client to try to help stabilize the power grid by bringing solar power to an area devastated by Hurricane Irma.
We sat down for a cup of coffee Monday afternoon to discuss her passion and purpose about the project.
How did you get involved?
There’s a company out of Germany called sonnenBatterie, and they had started the project after Hurricane Irma went through… Sonnen stayed, and invested about half a million dollars in solar batteries. They are one of the largest solar batteries producers in Europe.”
