“Business leaders, government representatives, and elected officials gathered at the North Carolina History Center Thursday night for the kickoff of the public phase of AccelerateCRAVEN, a $1.2M capital campaign aimed at implementing the Craven 100 Alliance’s new Five-Year Plan for economic development.

Andrews closed the evening by announcing the campaign’s success to date with 62% of the $1.2M goal pledged and the remaining funds to be raised in the public phase over the next few months.

The Craven 100 Alliance (C1A) is a public/private, non-profit organization providing the lead on economic development initiatives for Craven County.
