“After exceeding their previous $1 million goal by $300,000, PCDC is aiming to reach $1.1 million with Prosperity Project II.
The 2011 Prosperity Project funds were combined with LB840 local-option sales tax funds and resulted in $40 million in capital investments in Phelps County. The project provided funds for the purchase of the 134-acre Iron Horse Business and Industry Park and other economic stimulus projects, such as the downtown revitalization project, gap financing loans for businesses, facade improvement grants and high-demand jobs scholarships.”
