“The Greenwood Genetic Center Foundation wants to use land around its Greenwood campus for a technology cluster and has enlisted the Greenwood Partnership Alliance to help develop the campus.

The nonprofit foundation, which is the philanthropic arm of the genetic center, will work with the alliance, which is Greenwood’s economic development organization, to transform about 160 acres of land for the GGC Partnership Campus, officials said Thursday.

It will be the future home of human and medical genetics, biotechnology, life science enterprises, and related operations.”
