“Vance Charter School welcomed the community to its future home with a celebration and groundbreaking.

‘I’m really happy that we’ve gotten to this point,’ Sean Connolly, Vance Charter principal, said. ‘We’ve talked about it and planned this for months. It’s great to finally be to this point. I’m thrilled.’

The expansion of Vance Charter is broken down into four phases, Connolly said. Phases one and two are underway now. Phase three will be the high school with gymnasium, and phase four will be sports field and other external additions.

Vance Charter School currently serves 540 students, Connolly said, but will have room to accommodate 900 after the expansion.”
