Shannon’s experience in nonprofit work in the past 24 years includes a primary focus on organizational growth, multi-site expansion, leadership development, and fundraising. During that time, he developed an ability to generate support from individuals, community groups, local influencers, and government organizations.

Shannon has held various levels of responsibility in multiple funding efforts raising millions of dollars for privately funded nonprofits through targeted campaigns and annualized contributions. His resource development work includes the cultivation of individual investors, as well as corporate donors. He has directed annual funding campaigns raising over $2 million a year. Shannon managed all aspects of these campaigns including building credibility and communicating the organization’s outcomes to investors.

With his extensive background in nonprofit leadership, Shannon understands the importance of thinking strategically and creatively. His strength areas include timeline management, relational leadership, and strategic planning. He excels at working with colleagues and partners to establish and achieve common goals. A skilled communicator, he has experience managing nonprofits through times of success and crisis.

Shannon is enthusiastic about sharing the responsibility of helping nonprofit leaders develop the systems and relationships they need to support both their organization and their community.
