The Rowan Economic Development Council (EDC) is dedicated to the economic development of Rowan County North Carolina and the Charlotte metro region. Formed in 1984, the EDC’s primary role is to stimulate new capital investment and job growth through business expansion and attraction initiatives in Rowan County and its 10 municipalities.
